Oryan is a multi-disciplinary artist in the fields of dance, text, painting, sculpture and design.
Started to dance at the age of 6 and graduated from the Academy for Music and Dance High School in Jerusalem in 2004. Oryan won three scholarships from The Cultural Foundation Israel- America. At the age of 16 Oryan won the first prize at the Mia Arbatova Ballet Competition 2002. She first represented Israel in the New-York international Pas De Deux Ballet Competition in 2003.
Oryan started her professional career in the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (2006-2010) artistic director Rami Be'er. Performed creations such as:
Aide Memoire, Infrared, Upon Reaching the Sun etc, and in the creation by Kiristina De Chatel Puls (2010).
Oryan won The Culture and sport Minister Prize for her performance with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. During her career in the company, Oryan created her first creation Missis inspired by a poem she published in Hellicon periodical poetry magazine.
Oryan started her freelance career as creator and dancer in 2010 as she danced in The Project company by the Israeli Opera House and Suzan Dellal center where she danced choreographies by William Forsythe, Idan Sharabi, Emanuel Gat, Jacopo Godani, Marco Goecke and Yoram Karmi.
Oryan took part in artistic process and danced with choreographers such as: Sahar Azimi, Idit Herman and Clipa Theatre (which she is a member of since 2013), Michal Herman, Gili Navot, Yoni Soutchy, Maya Yogel, Noa Shiloh, Elad Shechter, Shlomi Bitton, Sharon Vaisvaser, Javier de Frutos, etc.
In summer 2017, she reached the finals of the reality TV dance competition Move It Israel.
In 2014, Oryan won the Culture and Sport Minister Prize for best performing artist. The judges stated: "Oryan is a virtuosic dancer, with a large qualified movements pallet. Oryan touches us with her sincerity and her devotion for her movements".
Oryan teaches Ballet, Contemporary dance, Floor-work, Improvisation and Repertoire in different institutions and centers such as- The Academy for Music and Dance high-school, Clipa Theatre, Inbal Company, Thelma Yellin high school, The Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, Yoram Levinstein Acting Studio etc.
Oryan Created and participated in many festivals such as Curtain Up, International Exposure, Zirat Machol, MASH Berlin, Borderlands Germany, From Jaffa to Agripas, Mia Arbatova Gala etc.
Among Oryan's creations- Planning a Vacation from Myself. Checking Costs, I-Dare-U, Shoot Me, More or Less is More, No Blood Relation. Ever, and more.
Oryan is a member of the Choreographer Foundation since 2019.

Oryan´s workshops focus on Maximizing the physical abilities of each participants, from recognition that each one of us is not resemble into one ideal mold, but learning and investigating our personal instrument, our body, into maximal evolution. The participants are asked to work from a place of appearance, as if they constantly are being observed by the eye of the public. That approach is for practicing and elaborating the capacity of expressing and presence of the students, beyond that, it imparts them confidence in every motion and movement, already from the first contact with the learnt material. Oryan´s credo is that each exercise, sequence of movements or combination are “dance “, in order to enjoy and maximize your learning experience , and it is necessary to approach each moment in the studio as a performance. During the workshop, Oryan is provoking her students to think and practicing curiosity towards achievement of broad knowledge, awareness and technique , by questioning and finding creative solutions.
